International Student Health Insurance
All F-1/J-1 students and visiting scholars are eligible for The International Student and Scholar Health Insurance Plan. This plan is mandatory unless the student has separate insurance that meets U-M’s minimum requirements. U.S. citizens and permanent residents (green card holders) are not eligible.
